February Vacation Camp

Join us for service and fun over February break! Each day includes a fun service project, movement and play breaks, group lunch, and a wrap up where we discuss ways to continue the service learning at home. Each day is different, so sign up for individual days or the full week! Schedule below!

Monday - We will be making toys and blankets for shelter animals and grab bags filled with treats for their owners to take when they adopt! In the afternoon, our 2nd - 5th graders will head to the Gifford Cat Shelter to drop off our donations! Our K/1 students will enjoy cooperative games and choice time!

Tuesday - We will be spending the morning making gifts and cards for local seniors and writing letters to seniors across the country. In the afternoon our whole group will walk to Evan's Park Senior Living to play bingo with the residents and deliver the treats we made!

Wednesday - Time to bake! We will be assembling lasagnas and making dessert for the community meal at the Allston-Brighton Food Pantry! In the afternoon our 2nd - 5th graders will head to the pantry to drop off the meal we've made!

Thursday - Join us to help the Earth with a special upcycled art project with our resident art teacher, Ms. Ellis! We'll be following this project with a whole group field trip to American Flatbread in Brighton to bowl and to see how they keep their restaurant ocean-friendly!

Friday - We'll be wrapping up the week with craft projects for Arts for Little Hearts, an organization that delivers handmade crafts to kids in hospitals around the world. We'll be celebrating a great week with a trip to West Newton Cinema for a movie!
